### What is Ideocube and what will I discover?

Ideocube is a political positioning quiz that analyzes your answers across several economic, social and institutional dimensions. You get a clear picture of your profile, along with comparisons with various parties and ideological movements.

### Is Ideocube free?

Yes. The quiz and its main results are free. You can also unlock an in-depth analysis of your results with [the Premium offer.](https://ideocube.com/pricing) It is a one-time payment, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Browsing the Positions page and suggesting corrections to parties’ positions are always free.

### Are my answers and data kept confidential?

Yes. You don’t need an account, a name or an email address to take the quiz, and Ideocube does not collect any digital fingerprint to identify you. Your answers are not linked to your identity and are only used anonymously, in particular to produce overall statistics.

If you make a Premium purchase, only the information needed to process the payment is used for the transaction.

A password-free account is only required to buy Premium credits, browse the Positions page or contribute to parties’ positions (suggesting a correction, voting, reporting). Your free questionnaires are not linked to this account.

### How is my result calculated?

Each answer affects one or more political dimensions, with a weighting suited to the topic in question. Everything is then combined to determine your position on Ideocube’s main axes and to break down the different components of your profile.

### How are the parties’ positions assessed?

Parties are assessed on the basis of their public positions on the topics covered by the quiz. They go through the same analysis grid and the same calculation system as participants, so that they can be compared consistently with your result.

### Is Ideocube politically neutral?

Ideocube does not try to steer you toward any opinion, ideology or party. No answer is considered right or wrong, and the same analysis rules apply to every profile and every political party. The positions attributed to parties also remain open to correction, to limit errors and arbitrary interpretations.

### How are the parties’ positions kept up to date?

A party’s political line can change. That’s why Ideocube lets any user with an account suggest a correction for free, backed by sources, when a position seems inaccurate, outdated or missing, from their results or from the Positions page.

The links cited are analyzed automatically, then the suggestion is put to a community vote for 14 days. This vote is a signal: the final decision rests with the Ideocube team, after review. To limit abuse, the Positions page is open to accounts created at least 24 hours ago, and votes only count once the account is 72 hours old. This participatory system helps keep comparisons reliable, current and representative.
